About Sarah

Sarah is a working contemporary artist, business communication coach and acting tutor.

Her early career was immersed in the theatre world, both on stage and behind the scenes, and once she achieved her formal qualifications she embarked on her journey to educate and support others on their paths to creative fulfilment.

Before achieving a degree in Acting at Rose Bruford College she was a prop maker at the Royal Shakespeare Company and considers these years to be the bedrock of her portfolio career.

'Being in such a well known working theatre made me professionally brave and bold. I didn't have time to hold back or hide!'

Over the last 25 years Sarah has built a reputation as an outstanding teacher and a popular creative practitioner. She has extended her own learning with a personal body of research in psychology, behavioural science and neurobiology.

'Studying acting gave me a firm foothold in the science of people, and now I bring that science from the stage to the corporate world.'

She teaches those she works with to overcome anxieties around work life, public speaking and presentations. She has taught managers to communicate effectively, supported graduates into work and has improved the industry practices of teams.

Sarah has has coached aspiring young performers into the National Youth Theatre, and into both Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses. To date, places have been offered at Royal Central, E15, GSA, Rose Bruford, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Royal Welsh, Goldsmiths and Central St Martins.

Sarah has mentored new writers and working actors, and run highly effective performance workshops uncovering the real science of successful acting.

Most recently Sarah has achieved recognisable success as a visual artist in her own right and regularly exhibits and sells her paintings both at home and abroad

Sarah achieved her Honors Degree in Acting, at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, qualified as a teacher at Warwick University and is achieved  her Masters Degree in Fine Art at the Birmingham School of Art.
